How to enable Arist app in Teams (does not pre-install for end users)

The following steps should be performed by a Teams administrator.

The objective is to set Arist as "Available to" == "everyone". The exact flow in your Teams admin center can vary depending on things like ACM and new UI changes to the admin center by Microsoft.

For example, if you are using Permission Policies in your Teams tenant, you may be able to set available to everyone by going to Teams apps > Permission Policies.

If using legacy ACM, you might do this:

  • Navigate to Application Permission Policies

  • Set up migration

  • Select the appropriate Permission Policy

  • Under Manage Apps, find Arist, and choose Edit Availability

  • Ensure it is set to "Available to everyone"

Some tenants can also manage availability from Manage apps like this:

  • Navigate to Manage Apps

  • Find the Arist application

  • Go to the Users and Groups tab

  • Edit availability, and set to Everyone
